In the old days before the internet and other weather sites the NOAA Marine Forecast was the only forecast we had to go on.  We would use the VHF radio and listen to 15 different forecasts until they got to the Offshore Hatteras Forecast.  While there are more detailed sites with more information this is still a great link for 12-24hr forecasts.  Beyond that it doesn't seem to be as accurate as some other ones.  It is nice to have the wave height and wind forecast all on the same page.
