Outer Banks Fishing Report for 8/22/2016

Hatteras Fishing Report for 8/22/2016-- 2kts of tide into 20+ north wind made for some pretty choppy conditions today. We managed to scrap it out long enough to put together a nice catch though. Wahoos didn't bite as good as they have the last 2 days but there still were a few bites around the fleet. Weather should get better later in the week and we still have Thursday and Friday open. Give us a call while the wahoos are still here . 252-996-0549

If you looking to catch some amber jacks on a 1/2 day now is the time. Give us a call have some days available. 252-996-0549

Outer Banks Fishing Report for 8/15/2016

Hatteras Fishing Report for 8/15/2016--  If you are gonna leave late you better come in early. Our group today wanted to leave at 8:30 and come back at 2. We were able to scrap out a few fish for limited time. The current is still screaming but there were some wahoo bites up to the east. Hopefully the tide falls out to the southern tomorrow. Still need a couple people for a make up charter Thursday. Give us a call if you are interested.

Outer Banks Fishing Report for 8/12/2016

Hatteras Fishing Report for 8/12/2016 -- Half day this morning and as pretty as the water was inshore yesterday it was twice as ugly today. Couldn't believe how fast it turned around in there but I guess 5kts of tide offshore will do screwy things to the water everywhere. We did manage to scrap out a few decent bites in the murky water including a real nice Amberjack for inshore for this little man. He did a great job battling him away from the wreck. We didn't do as good a job on our other jack bites. Did catch a nice cudas and broke one off that put on a better show than any billfish we have caught this year.

Outer Banks Fishing Report for 8/10/2016

Hatteras Fishing Report for 8/10/2016 -- Wahoos got the better of us today. Started out pulling off a high speed bite first thing this morning. We had a few trolling bites through the day but never could come tight on one. We tried the bottom a few times but things were on the move hard to get more than one drop before the marks were gone. Hard tide shoving up and in from down below I guess had everything hauling butt ahead of it. Another boat found a float this afternoon and they were nice enough to leave us a few. Hopefully we do a little better on the wahoos tomorrow.

Outer Banks Fishing Report for 8/11/2016

Hatteras Fishing Rpeort for 8/11/2016 --  After a tough day yesterday and lots of tide coming from down below we decided to stay in the mud all day. It paid off and we wound up with a great catch for today. A few boats that went deep got skunked. Too bad we couldn't have this good of fishing that close to home everyday.

Outer Banks Fishing Report for 8/4/2016

Hatteras Fishing Report for 8/4/2016 -- Plenty of action all day today. Caught a wahoo on the high speed first thing then picked at them all day along with a few dolphins a couple sails and a lit up spearfish. Spearfish are probably the pretty fish in the ocean neon blue and purple and this one was as bright as they get. Another great day on the water. Give us a call if you want a trip of a lifetime like David and Bill had today. We still have some days open in August and the wahoos are here. 252-996-0549

Outer Banks Fishing Report for 8/3/2016

Hatteras Fishign Report for 8/3/2016 -- Wahoos finally showed up today. Pretty good fishing up and down the fleet. I over ran the best of it this morning but fished my way back up the beach this afternoon and had steady bites the whole way including a citation 55lber. We have a few days available next week but I'm sure they will book up fast now that the wahoos are here. Give us a call if you want in on some action 252-996-0549.
